We have all had those moments as kids. “What kind of animal would I be if i was one?” We also all have had those mesmerizing moments where we’d be sitting in front of the TV watching Tom and Jerry, Loony Toons, and even some of today’s more ‘high tech’ programs. All in all, we’ve always appreciated the characters of animation and also of our child hood. But what would it be like if we had gotten that chance. What if you had gotten to be an animal that represents yourself (real or mythical), or even to create such a creature. I know one who has… in fact, millions.

I refer to this interesting (yet whimsical) community as the Anthropomorphic Society. Other names for this fandom can be anything from cartoon enthusiast, to the more commonly used term ‘furry’.

In this blog, my goal is to share with you the amazing world of this fandom and all that it encases. I also wish to share with you some of the more ‘meat and potato’ sections. What exactly is this fandom? How did it start? Is it exactly as ‘evil’ as some say it is? The topics are endless, and I can assure you I will not be getting all of the possible topics covered in the short posts. But in the end, I do hope that you will enjoy this venture… from within the Dragon’s den.
